Maple Glazed Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
· 1 stick Butter room temperature
· ½ cup Brown Sugar
· ½ cup Sugar
· 1 Egg
· 1 teaspoon Vanilla
· 1/2 teaspoon Maple syrup
· 1 ¼ cups Flour
· ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
· ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
· 1 ½ cups Oats
· 1/2 cup Pecans chopped
Glaze:
· 1 cup Powdered Sugar
· 3 tablespoons Milk
· 1/4 teaspoon Maple syrup
· 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2. Add the butter, sugar, and brown sugar to a bowl. With the mixer on low, cream the butter and sugars together.

3. Then add in egg, vanilla, and maple extract. Mix together until just combined.

4. Then add in the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Using a spatula, begin to mix the dry ingredients in.

5. Add in the rolled oats and pecans. Stir to combine.

6. Scoop cookie dough into 1-½ inch drops on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Bake for about 10-14 minutes. The edges will be slightly brown and they are puffed up! The might still be a little soft in the middle but they’ll firm up as they cool!

9. In a bowl, stir together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and maple syrup.
1 cup Powdered Sugar, 3 tablespoons Milk, 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract, 1/4 teaspoon Maple syrup
10. Dip the top of the cookies in the glaze, then shake gently to remove excess, then let dry on a cooling rack.
